Ratings Review: 2018 World Series (Red Sox vs Dodgers)
The 2018 World Series was down, significantly, from the 2017 fall classic, by roughly two million viewers per night and over a half a point in the A18-49 demographic. The numbers did perk up for the fifth and final game, attracting over 17.6 million viewers.
FOX also lost out on the key games six and seven, when casual viewers begin tuning in to see a team clinch the title, in a back and forth series. Last year, game six grew over three million viewers, from game five, and game seven was up 10 million from game five.
