Ratings Review: 2015 NL Wild Card and Division Series

A day after the AL Wild Card Game became the most watched Wild Card Game ever, the NL Wild Card Game topped it in the ratings. The Cubs are a big draw and all games involving the team should do well in the ratings.

Cub fans rejoiced as they defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, three games to one. Three of the four games were played in the late afternoon slot, starting between 4 and 6 p.m., and the ratings were relatively strong considering there may have been little west coast supports in the ratings.

The Dodgers vs Mets series went the distance and the ratings did not disappoint. Game four scored the thirdbest ratings for an NL post season game, this season, and game five topped that. When you have the top two markets represented in the same game, you have to expect good ratings.
