Ratings Review: 2012 WORLD SERIES

The 2012 World Series featured the San Francisco Giants vs the Detroit Tigers. The Giants swept the Tigers in four games, with each team hosting two games each.

When you compare the ratings from year-to-year, the 2011 series went the full seven games. Game #7 drew 25.4 million viewers and 7.4 demo rating. But game #4 of that series drew 15.16 million viewers and a 4.2 rating. Nearly identical viewer numbers, but 2012 was up by nearly 17% in the A18-49 ratings.

Lets hope 2013 gives us a more competitive series and better ratings to discuss.
