Ratings Review: 2016 AL Wild Card and Division Series
The American made quick work of getting through the early rounds of the playoffs. Both Divisional Series went the minimum number of games, in the Best of five format, with ratings that were below last year's levels.
The Cleveland vs Boston series did perform better, with two games airing in primetime. Game three. pushed back a day because of weather, had a 6 PM start, bridging between the two NLDS game of the day.
Toronto vs Rangers was the odd series out, getting mostly day games and the ratings reflect that. Only game three aired in primetime, but at that point, it was a forgone conclusion that Toronto would win the series.
