The ratings cooled off for SCANDAL, this spring, as it was one of the hottest dramas on network TV, through three and a half seasons. From January to May, the series lost over 20% of its total viewership and nearly a point and a half in the A18-49 demo. Had SCANDAL run its course?The Live+SD ratings, this spring, averaged 8.55 million viewers and a 2.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down 1.6 million viewers and down 19% in the demo, from the fall episodes.
In the Live+7 ratings, this spring, SCANDAL's total viewership rose to 12.36 million (+45%) and the A18-49 demographic ratings jumped to a 4.2 (+62%). The full season average is slightly higher at 12.99 million viewers and a 4.5 demo rating.
