Ratings Review: SCANDAL

SANDAL was a complete surprise to ABC on how well it performed. It basically never lost its audience levels, from its premiere numbers. Seven millions viewers and a 2.0 demo rating, in the late spring, is a keeper.

SCANDAL will have its work cut out for it come this fall. Yes, it should easily crush ROCK CENTER, but it will face the new ELEMENTARY crime drama on CBS. Fortunately, SCANDAL may not need to win its time period to be successful. It just needs to hit certain goal numbers, say eight million viewers and a middle-two in the demo.
