US Box Office Results: April 22 - 24, 2016
THE JUNGLE BOOK continues to dominate the USA box office, collecting another $60.8 million this weekend, That brings the remake's 10 day total to an impressive $191 million, make it the #5 movie of the year, so far.
THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR was a distant second place, taking in just over $20 million int its first weekend of release. The sequel movie will have a tough time getting back its production budget of $115 million, as it is on track for about $60 - $70 million dollar domestic take.
After two months in theaters, ZOOTOPIA is still going strong, staying in the top 5. The $6.6 million from this weekend, pushes the domestic total to $316 million and places it third for the year, behind BATMAN v SUPERMAN.
