If you have the NFL in primetime, no one else can compete. NBC dominated the weekly ratings, with another commanding performance by Sunday Night Football. The NFL game attracted 20.7 million viewers and a 7.0 rating in Adults 18-49. NBC also put its three dominate summer series, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR and WORLD OF DANCE in the top 20. NBC had eight shows (11.5 hours) in the top 30.
ABC and ABC were neck-and-neck, posting the same ratings in all three reported demographic categories. CBS gets the #2 spot with 900,000 more viewers, on average.
For CBS, 13 of its programs made the top 30, lead by the late afternoon NFL game, that bleed into primetime, with 21 million viewers. 60 Minutes had a nice bump, taking in 11.4 million viewers and the #4 spot on the chart.
ABC kept up with CBS with its Saturday night college football game, which ranked 8th on the chart.ABC had seven more shows in the top 30, all ranking 21st or lower.
FOX, with no NFL overrun, was fourth, with just one hour of MASTERCHEF (#30) making the top 30 of the week.
The CW accomplished the sweep at the bottom of the chart with all 12 of its programs.
