Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 09/18/2018
With three of the four other networks mainly in repeats, NBC had an easy time dominating the Tuesday night ratings. From 8 to 10 PM, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT commanded 12.7 million viewers and a 2.3 rating in the key A18-49 demographic. that is down two million viewers and about 20% in the demo, from last year's final Tuesday night episode. At 11 PM, NBC had the Paley Center Salute for THIS IS US, which held onto a third of its lead in, with 4.8 million viewers and a 0.9 demographic rating. For the night, NBC averaged 10.1 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in the A18-49 demographic.
FOX was the only other network in full originals, with BEAT SHAZAM grabbing 2.3 million viewers and a 0.8 demo, and LOVE CONNECTION retaining 1.8 million viewers and a 0.5 demo. FOX averaged 2.1 million viewers and a 0.7 demographic rating.
CBS' all encore night averaged 5.5 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49.
ABC had another episode of CASTAWAYS, at 10 PM, which ranked last in the hour and only drew 1.6 million viewers and a 0.3 demo rating. Along with two hours of comedy encores, ABC averaged 1.7 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in the A18-49 demo
The CW, airing encores of THE FLASH and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, averaged 1.1 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49. Those number look inflated by local sports preemptions, so expect a drop in the final nmbers.
