Ratings: Broadcast Finals for July 3, 2013


CBS sweeps a slow Independence Day Eve, lead by summer staple BIG BROTHER. The veteran reality series pulled in 5.4 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. Both measurements were the best of the night.

Following BIG BROTHER was the freshman cooking series THE AMERICAN BAKING COMPETITION, which hauled in 4.7 million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating. It is the first time the series won its time period and was mostly flat from its season average.

FOX took the night off, giving us a double shot of encore episodes of MASTERCHEF.

Wednesday Night Network Averages:
ABC - 2.8 million viewers, 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49.
CBS - 4.9 million viewers,1.2 rating in Adults 18-49.
CW - 0.9 million viewers, 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49.
FOX - 2.7 million viewers, 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49.
NBC - 4.2 million viewers, 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49.
