Ratings: Broadcast Finals for July 2, 2013

NBC wins the night, but the once summer powerhouse AMERICA'S GOT TALENT is starting to show its age, drawing 9.6 million viewers and a 2.4 rating in Adults 18-39. Week-to-week, the series down about a million viewers and 10% in the demo ratings. Comparison to last season is a bit difficult as AGT premiered in May 2012, plus the two hour edition was airing on Mondays, with a one hour episode on Tuesdays. The two hour episode on Monday, July 2nd drew 10.4 million viewers and a solid 3.0 rating, making Tuesday's numbers off by more than one million viewers and 23% in the A18-49 ratings. The one hour episode on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, was nearly identical to these ratings.

CBS' BIG BROTHER episode on its first Tuesday collected 5.6 million viewers and a 1.9 demo rating.   Last year's third episode (on a Wednesday) drew a 5.8 million viewers and a 2.0 demo rating. So the ratings are of by no more than 5%.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE posted a 1.5 demo rating with 4.4 million viewers, down 12% in the A18-49 ratings. If things do not perk up for the veteran competition series, 2013 could be its last season.

ABC - 3.3 million viewers, 0.9 rating in Adults 18-4.

CBS - 6.0 million viewers, 1.2 rating in Adults 18-4.

CW - 0.6 million viewers, 0.2 rating in Adults 18-4.

FOX - 4.4 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-4.

NBC - 7.5 million viewers, 1.9 rating in Adults 18-4.
