Ratings: Broadcast Finals for May 26, 2013
Believe it or not, there was more original programming (8+ hours) than repeat programming (4 hours) on this Saturday night. Unfortunately, the ratings still reflect a disinterest by the viewing public to stay home on a weekend night and watch TV.
The NHL Playoffs on NBC brought in the highest demo ratings of the night, hitting the 1.1 mark. That bested FOX and its MLB game (0.5) by more than double the ratings. However, when it comes to attracting viewers, CBS still dominates that measured rating.
