The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #87:
ABC wins the last week of the regular season, thanks to a surge by DANCING WITH THE STARS and the season finales of its two big sitcoms.
DANCING WITH THE STARS finished its season with a surge in both viewers and demo ratings, putting it as the #1 and #2 programs of the week. Each edition drew 15 million viewers and posted season highs in both viewers and A18-49 ratings.
NBC's THE VOICE also did week, ranking as the #4 and #5 programs of the week, but over the last five weeks, the series has lost nearly 40% of its audience. THE VOICE needs to know how to finish a season, just like DWTS was able to do.
CBS was mainly in summer repeat mode, but it did have a couple of big season finales in CRIMINAL MINDS and HAWAII FIVE-0. The two crime dramas fines #3 and #8, respectively.
FOX, now without AMERICAN IDOL finished fourth for the week, but its summer series are starting to look good, once all the networks are in summer programming. Even against regular season show, MASTER CHEF and HELL'S KITCHEN did well in the ratings, particularly in the A18-49 ratings.
For the summer, expect the CW to just horrible ratings, so there is not much need to point out the obvious. We may compare the network with ION, from time to time. For instance, this week, ION topped The CW in viewers (1.32 v 0.6 million), Households (0.8 v 0.5 ratings), and the two networks tied in the A18-49 ratings with 0.3 each.
