Preliminary Ratings: Friday 09/21/2018

NBC tops a slow Friday night in broadcast TV, averaging 3.6 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. CBS is next with a 0.4 demographic rating, while pulling in 3.3 million viewers. Both ABC and FOX fall under two million viewers, while tying in the A18-49 demo, with a 0.4 demo. The CW brings up  the rear, with a 0.2 demo and 1.2 million viewers.

A MACGYVER encore tops the 8 PM hour, with 3.7 million viewers and a 0.4 rating, while the hour's only original program, MASTER SO ILLUSION is fifth, with an 0.2 demo and 1.2 million viewers.

At 9, DATELINE win the final two hour, commanding a 0.8 demographic rating, while attracting 4.8 million viewers. The TKO finale brought in 2.2 million viewers and a 0.4 demo, for CBS.

At 10 PM, 20/20 was last in the hour, tying BLUE BLOODS in the A18-49 age group, but drawing 1.5 million viewers less, with 2.4 million.
