ABC and FOX went head-to-head with College Football and came out pretty much even on the night. Both networks averaged a 0.9 rating in the A18-49 demographic, while ABC had the slight edge in total viewers, 3.3 million to 3.2 million.
Fighting for a distant third, CBS and NBC had its own battle, as two networks posted a 0.4 rating in the demo, for their all-encore lineups. CBS did much better in viewers, grabbing 2.6 million, while NBC drew just under 2.1 million.
