Disney Held Talks to Purchase Most of 21st Century FOX

The two media giants of Disney and 21st Century Fox, are in talks for Disney to buy most of the current holding of 21st Century Fox.

The sale may be best to look at what is NOT in the possible agreement. The FOX Broadcast Network, Fox Sports Programming assets, FOX News and FOX Business. Leaving those assets out of the purchase would help Disney avoid ani-competitive/antitrust arguments out when getting federal approval for the buyout.

Disney would get the movie studio (along with getting The X-Men back in house, under Marvel), TV production, Cable networks and international assets such as B SKY B and Star.
