2016 Commercial Cost Survey: CBS

Ad Age has released its 2016 Commercial Cost Survey, showing the per average price for advertisers on a 30 second spot for each regular TV series. CBS has two programs in the top 10, both getting over a quarter million dollars per spot. THE BIG BANG THEORY (#5) averages over $289,000 and THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (#2) commands just under $523,000. New comedy, KEVIN CAN WAIT, is getting $160,635 per spot, right out of the gate.

On the low end, and not including Saturday night's, new Friday night action drama, MACGYVER, is starting out at a little over $72,000 per spot. That is just under the other two Friday night Dramas, BLUE BLOODS and HAWAII FIVE-O.
