Ratings Review: 2015 Christmas Specials
It is once again time for the annual ratings review on all the holiday specials the five broadcast networks ran between Thanksgiving and Christmas. There were over fifty programs this year, with most of the great classics, with a few new comers, are at or near the top of the chart. Most specials did have multiple airings, but rarely did the encore do as well as the initial broadcast.This year, the ratings are broken up by networks, then by date of airing.
ABC aired the most specials, with 15, and FOX the least with just two specials, airing twice each. NBC had the most watched special, the new original movie, COAT OF MANY COLORS, which drew 13 million viewers. The first airing of RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER did the best in the A18-49 demographic posting a 2.4 rating.
