Ratings Review: THE MUPPETS (Season One - Fall 2015)

THE MUPPETS new series was one of the more anticipated new series for the 2015-16 TV season and the series premiere ratings show that. That first episode drew 9.0 million viewers and a 2.8 rating in Adults 18-49. But, reality and disappointment set in and THE MUPPETS lost over 60% of its audience with in the first two months. Survival beyond the first season is now a long shot of happening.

In the Live+SD ratings, THE MUPPETS first half of the season averaged 4.83 million viewers, a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-34, a 1.5 in Adults 18-49 and a 1.8 rating in Adults 25-54.

As the first half of the season progressed, the DVR numbers became smaller and smaller and were rarely reported. Big gains the first couple of weeks were quickly lost by the end of 2015.

THE MUPPETS will be returning with new episodes on February 2, 2016.
