Primetime Cable Ratings: October 8, 2015
It took a one hour rain delay to stop the MLB playoffs from continuing its strong ratings run. Game one of the ALDS, featuring the Astros vs the Royals, did draw 3.3 million viewers for the first 90 minutes of the game, but when play resumed at 10 p.m., just half of the viewers stuck with FS1.
Houston's other team, the Texans, were playing Thursday Night Football, over on the NFL Network. That game collected 2.8 million viewers, but topped the baseball game in the A18-49 demo, by 30%.
