Ratings Review: THE MAKING OF THE MOB: NY (Season One)

MAKING OF THE MOB: NY was not a strong performer in the Nielsen ratings, as only three of the eight episodes managed to draw over one million viewers. But, AMC saw something in the series, as it has ordered a follow up series, MAKING OF THE MOB: CHICAGO, for 2016.

In the Live+SD ratings, MAKING OF THE MOB averaged just 1.01 million viewers, a 0.2 rating in Adults 18-34, a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49 and a 0.4 rating in Adults 25-54.

The DVR ratings were so-so, building between two to three tenths of a point, by the 7th day of viewing. The highest rated episode, the series opener, only added a total of 700,000 viewers, and I would suspect that number falls, significantly, as the season progressed.
