Ratings Review: THE GAME (Season Nine - Summer 2015)

When THE GAME was cancelled by The CW, back in 2009, not may people thought that the series would ever return for another season, let alone 83 more episodes on BET. When the series did return, many never thought the ratings would be better than those from the CW, despite BET being a cable network and viewerships, in general, were trending downward. THE GAME, which was a backdoor pilot for UPN's GIRLFRIENDS, ends its run after nine seasons, the last six successful season on BET.

In the Live+SD ratings, THE GAME averaged 1.38 million viewers, a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54, for the last 10 episode of the series.

THE GAME is not a strong DVR draw, as it rarely gets reported in the top weekly charts for the Live+3 Day and Live+7 Day ratings. The demo number tent to rise about 0.3 to 0.4 points in the A18-49 demographic.
