New co-host for THE VIEW:
Actress Raven Symone has been named as new co-host of the ABC daytime talker. Her duties start immediately.
The CFL returns to ESPN:
One of the old programming staples of ESPN, in the early days, returns as ESPN will televise the Canadian Football League, this season. The multi-year, exclusive contract will have 20 games featured on ESPN and ESPN2, plus an additional 69 games on the online channel, ESPN3. Preseason games begin this Friday, and the regular season begins June 25th.
NBC picks up star reality series:
The comedy reality series, BETTER LATE THAN NEVER will feature five stars (William Shatner, Henry Winkler, Terry Bradshaw, George Forman and Jeff Dye) on an international excursion, with no assistants, limos, or other celebrity perks. They will travel across Asia, before heading back to the USA. Production begins in August, but no premiere date has been set.
CBS sets fall premiere dates:
The most watched network on TV set its fall 2015 premieres, starting with NFL Football, on Sept. 17th. [LINK]
DEGRASSI has a new home:
The long running Nickelodeon series DEGRASSI will now call Netflix home, for the USA. The new series DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION will begin in 2016.
