Ratings Review: COUGAR TOWN (Season Six)

After six seasons and 102 episodes, the cul de sac crew's run came to an end. COUGAR TOWN produced 61 episode for ABC (2010-12) and 41 episodes for TBS (2013-15). The ratings were not great, but by cable sitcom standards, they were very good.

Sitcoms have struggled on cable TV, but COUGAR TOWN is one of the better rated comedies. Most of its episodes drew well over a million viewers and attracted about 600,000 viewers in the A18-49 demographic. That is about twice the numbers ITS ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA draws and it was renewed for two more seasons.

For the season, COUGAR TOWN averaged 1.08 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49, for the Live+SD ratings. After seven days, episodes more than doubled in both categories.
