Ratings Review: HOUSE OF LIES (Season Four)
I hate to continually dog on Showtime's ratings, but I just do not get why it continues to renew such low performances. How can a series that draws just a half million viewers, nationwide, make it through four seasons? How does this keep or draw subscribers to the service?
Given all of that, season four of HOUSE OF LIES was the lowest rated season to date. Two episodes drew under 500k and another five were under 600k. The A18-49 demographic has to at a 0.2 rating as the 0.3 ratings reported are for the two most watched episodes of the season.
For the season, HOUSE OF LIES averaged 580,000 viewers and, a presumed, 0.2 demo rating. The average viewership represents just TWO PERCENT of Showtime's subscription base of 27.7 million homes. Somehow, this series will be back in 2016, for a fifth season.
