Complete Nielsen Ratings: February 16 - 22, 2015
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #94:
ABC rose the 87th Academy Awards to an easy sweep of the weekly ratings. All three half hour segments of the red carpet, plus the three hour event, all made the top 10, with the awards telecast taking the #1 spot. Although the awards were down by about 6 million viewers, it still attracted 37.3 million viewers, along with an 11.0 demo rating. That tops both The Grammys (CBS) and the SNL 40th Anniversary (NBC), over the two previous Sundays. ABC added another seven programs into the top 30, with SCANDAL leading the way at #15, making it the best week of the year for the network.
CBS was second on the week, in each category. It had the five of the top 10 shows of the week, with the series premiere of THE ODD COUPLE grabbing 13.6 million, for the #7 show of the week. In total, CBS had 14 top thirty programs.
FOX and NBC were a distant Third and Fourth place, respectively. FOX managed just three programs in the top 30 (EMPIRE at #9 and IDOL at #12 and #18), while NBC's sole entry was THE BLACKLIST, at #28. Both networks have a couple of stronger programs, but struggle through most of the rest of the week.
