NBCU Networks dropping ratings data:
The networks of NBCU will drop the Live+Same Day ratings reporting and will instead release Live+3 ratings. The move is begins now and will include all networks.
TV nets report dip in ad revenues:
Fox was down 9% to $971 million, while ABC slipped 2% to $895 million. The best results came from NBC, up 2% to $1.64 billion (including NBC-owned stations). CBS inched up 0.5% to $1.2 billion. [LINK]
NBC's next musical live event is...:
The choices of what musical NBC will present LIVE next december has been narrowed down to two classics. It will be either THE MUSIC MAN or THE WIZ. My bet is on THE WIZ, since it is a bit more contemporary and can draw a wider audience.

The eight hour, mini-series event FREEDOM RUN was announced by NBC. The series is about the underground railroad, based on the novel by Betty DeRamus. A timetable for release was not released.
SHARKNADO 3:
Yes, a third movie of the cult classic is coming in 2015, July to be specific, and returning is Ian Ziering and Tera Reid. This time, Washington DC is the target of the catastrophe.
SyFy Mini series announced:
A new six hour miniseries, SPIN, was announced from SyFy. The project is based on the Robert Charles Wilson novel of the same name. No production or premiere dates were released.
