Primetime Cable Ratings: January 5, 2015

MAJOR CRIMES starts the new year on top of the first Monday night cable ratings, commanding 4.3 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is on par with last week's episodes, which ranked third on the night, behind two College Bowl Games.

WWE Raw Took spots 2 - 4, averaging over 3.7 million viewers and a 1.3 demo rating, over the three hours of the event. It was second to LOVE & HIP HOP (1.5 rating) in the A18-49 demographic. RAW was up a tenth of a ratings point, in the demo, and 300k, in total viewers, from last week's ratings.

Closing out the top 15, was the college basketball game, on ESPN, tying PAWN STARS with 1.6 million viewers. Given the glut of college games on cable TV, every night, grabbing over 1.5 million viewers is a decent feat, even for ESPN.
