Primetime Cable Ratings: January 13, 2014

History's CURSE OF OAK ISLAND was the most watched show of Wednesday night, collecting 3.1 million viewers, plus a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. viewership jumped by a half million viewers, week-to week, while the demo remained flat. The reality series has been growing for a while and this is the first night it has been the top cable program.

Week two of THE HAVES AND HAVES NOTS, show lasses at just 10%, from last week's season premiere, in total viewers. The A18-49 ratings did see a significant drop of 28%.

HGTV may have a new hit series on its hands. Episode two, of the new second season of FIXER UPPER ranked 6th on the night, holding steady from last week's season premiere.

TLC is still getting some mileage from KATE PLUS 8, ranking 15th on the night, with just 1.8 million viewers. I thought this series was axed years ago as interest died out, but somehow, it is still on the air.
