Primetime Cable Ratings: December 29, 2014

ESPN tops Monday night's cable ratings, with the presentation of two bowl games. Between the two games, the network averaged 5.3 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. With ESPN having a monopoly on college bowl games, it should do well over the holidays, day and night, airing non-stop football for a couple of weeks.

MAJOR CRIMES posted its best numbers this winter, bringing in over 4.4 million viewers. That is an increase of 600,000 from last week's viewership. The A18-49 numbers was also up, a tenth of a point, to a 0.7 rating.
