Ratings Review: THE LEAGUE (Season Six)

It is hard to believe this series is no in its sixth season. I tried watching it during the first season and thought it was pretty bad, on all accounts. But THE LEAGUE must either have a fan within the FX management, or is strong at getting a very particular demographic.

The ratings look really bad, from my perspective. The most to watch an episode is just 650,000 viewers. The A18-49 ratings dropped 50%, from the premiere to the season finale. Not a good sign of r an already low rated program. The Live+3 numbers are not that much better, getting under one million viewers for the one episode that was reported.

For the season, THE LEAGUE averaged 450,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49. You would thing with numbers this low, it would not have a chance to return, but with THE LEAGUE now having six seasons in the bag, what is to keep FXX from ordering a seventh?
