Ratings Review: HELL ON WHEELS (Season Four)
AMC's underrated western/drama, HELL ON WHEELS, completed one of its strongest seasons to date. Out side of the last season of BREAKING BAD and the mega-hit, THE WALKING DEAD, the fourth year series is one of the better rated shows on the network, despite airing on Saturday nights.
The show is a little light in the A18-49 ratings, but it is solid with those viewers that are at home, and paying for cable TV. The season opener collected 1.32 million viewers in the A25-54 demographic and over 600,000 in the A18-49 demo. still a good number of younger viewers.
For the season, HELL ON WHEELS averaged 2.09 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49. Season five will be the last for the series, and in typical AMC fashion, the final 14 episodes will be split up between 2015 and 2016.
