Final Broadcast Ratings: December 8, 2014

MIKE & MOLLY are back and fill the void left by THE MILLERS just fine. The season premiere collected 8.1 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down, slightly, from last season's finale. The retention out of 2 BROKE GIRLS was a solid 96%. CBS was second in the hour, to THE VOICE.

It took three months, but NCIS: LA won the 10 p.m. time slot for the first time this season. The sixth year crime drama hauled in 8.7 million viewers and a 1.6 demo rating. It was, by far, the most watched show of the hour and tied STATE OF AFFAIRS in the A18-49 demographic. CASTLE was in the unusual position of being last in the demo.

ABC premiered the winter series THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT, and it didn't do half bad. Although it was third in its time slot, the 6.8 million viewers, it was up 1.3 million viewers, from last years premiere and close to two million viewers from the finale. The A18-49 ratings is up over 20% from last season.

THE VOICE was the most watched show of the night and had the top A18-49 ratings, but the numbers are down 10% in the demo and lost over 400,000 viewers, from last week's show. The crowning of the champion is just a week away and THE VOICE continues to lose viewers, each week.
