Final Broadcast Ratings: December 16, 2014

The season finale of THE VOICE was the top draw in the A18-49 demographic, grabbing a 3.2 rating. That, along with 12.9 million viewers, was down 1.1 million viewers and lost 18% of the demo, from last year's finale. The lost of the young demographic is amplified when you look at the 2012 finale. In two years, THE VOICE has dropped 33% in the coveted A18-49 category.

There was plenty of holiday program on the networks, including the classic CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS. The Peanuts gang hauled in 6.3 million viewers and a 1.8, tops among the genre. That is up, a little, with what the special drew last year, on a Thursday night. PREP & LANDIN, on ABC, and ELF: BUDDY'S MUSICAL CHRISTMAS did average ratings, each getting a 1.3 in the demo.

CBS was the only network to run its regular schedule on the night, helping it be the most watched network on the night. NCIS and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS were the two most watched show of the night, respectively.

Final L+SD Network Averages:
ABC - 4.4 million viewers, 1.3 rating in A18-49
