GO is now on FIRE:
HBO and Amazon announced that the HBO Go app is now available on the Fire-TV set top box, for authenticated customers of cable and satellite TV. HBO Go is expected to be added on the Fire-TV Stick, sometime in the spring of 2015.



Dish adds Netflix:
Dish has added the Netflix app to its Hopper devices for its customers. Plans are to roll out the service on to the other Dish boxes, later in 2015.



NBC to stream more content:
Unlike CBS, NBC will not be selling a separate service of its network, rather it will offer more content online for those authenticated customers of subscription TV.



FOX acting as expected:
The freshmen limited series GRACEPOINT, has been cancelled by the network, meaning no second season.



Charlie Sheen back on Network TV:
The former TWO AND A HALF MEN star will reprise his character from FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF, as the boy in the police station, on an upcoming episode of THE GOLDBERGS. Let's hope THE GOLDBERGS get the year right, when the reference this.



Starz renews freshman series:
The Golden Globe nominated drama THE MISSING has been renewed for a second season, by Starz.



DEAD in LA:
It has been revealed that the companion series of THE WALKING DEAD will be set in L.A.



FXX to launch late night block:
FXX is ready to take on Adult Swim by launching its own late night animated block of original programs. The first two series are LUCAS BROS. MOVING COMPANY and STONE QUACKERS. The official launch date is January 22, at 12:00 a.m., but a special sneak peak is schedule fore Jan 1.



AMERICAN IDOL paring down broadcast hours:
The long running singing competition series, AMERICAN IDOL, will go down to just one night a week, once it hit the final ten contestants. The Thursday night is the night going away, come spring time.



Hulu strikes ABC deal:
Hulu and ABC have a new deal, which includes exclusive stream rights to some ABC and ABC family series. [LINK]
