Live +7 Day Network Ratings: September 22 - 28, 2014

The Live +7 day Network ratings have been released and NBC and CBS maintain their dominance in the numbers. NBC wins the A18-49 crown with a 3.7 average ratings, while CBS grabs the most viewers with just under 13.3 million.

Year to year, NBC and CBS were even in the A18-49 ratings and up 6% and 2%, respectively, in total viewers. ABC and FOX were down 6% and 4%, respectively, in the demo, but up 4% and 9%, in viewership.

ABC did have the largest gain in both the A18-49 ratings and total viewers. ABC rose up 0.8 points, while the other three networks each rose 0.7 points, and added 2.6 million viewers to CBS' (#2) 2.3 million.

Looking at the individual shows, CBS leads the pack with 10 shows, in the top 25, in the Live+7 ratings, lead by the #3 largest gain with THE BIG BANG THEORY adding 5.9 million viewers. ABC placed eight programs in the top 25, including, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, which had the largest gain with just under 7 million viewers added after premier night for the series. NBC had just four shows on the chart, while FOX pushed in three.

Over on the A18-49 charts, it was mostly evenly split for percentage gain. CBS, ABC each had seven shows, FOX had six, NBC had four and the CW one. Some low rated shows that made the chart include UTOPIA, AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL and THE MINDY PROJECT.

Of the largest gainers in actual ratings points, ABC had eight programs, CBS and NBC each had seven shows in the top 25 and FOX only had three, but it did have the #1 gainer of premiere week. GOTHAM added 2.7 points to its A18-49 ratings, beating HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, THE BIG BANG THEORY and THE BLACKLIST
