Final Broadcast Ratings: October 10, 2014
ABC may have found a great compatible comedy to go with LAST MAN STANDING, and CRISTELA is that show. The new comedy held its lead in, in total viewers, and grew the A18-49 ratings. Something the last couple of comedies were unable to do.
Good news continued for ABC as SHARK TANK was the night's #1 show in the A18-49 ratings, with a 2.0 rating, the best show of the season. The reality series is by far the class of the night, grabbing viewers and young demographics.
CBS is still having issues with its 8 p.m. slot. THE AMAZING RACE is not translating well on Friday nights. It is a weak #2 in both viewers and demo and really does not look to be much more than a time filler for when UNDERCOVER BOSS returns in January.
BLUE BLOODS was the night's most watch show of the night, with 11.1 million viewers, and won the 10 p.m. hour in both viewers and in the A18-49 demo.
FOX is looking so bad on the night that the CW is now competing with i for the #4 spot. FOX gets by the CW by just one tenth of a ratings point in the A18-49 ratings and just 400k in total viewers. I would not be surprised to see the CW beat FOX, at least once by the end of 2014.
