Ratings Review: NY MED (Season Two)

NY MED was resuscitated back to life, for 2014, after ABC killed the series after its first season, in 2012. I proved to be a good call as the series performed nicely for the network.

The docu-series was one of the more watched series on ABC, getting viewer totals from around the low to mid five million viewer range. That is a little better than its ROOKIE BLUE lead in produced this summer. The A18-49 ratings are not horrible, for a summer series, but they were not great either. ABC can, and has done worst than NY MED and should consider keeping it for the summer of 2015.

For the eight episode season, NY MED averaged 5.22 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. No official announcement on a possible third season of the series. Perhaps it will not come until 2016?
