Ratings Review: ROOKIE BLUE (Season Five)
It is not often you see a scripted drama run for five seasons, all during the summer months, but ROOKIE BLUE has been a solid program for ABC since its premiere, in 2010.
Ratings did slip a bit, from the previous season, but perhaps more so in the A18-49 ratings. This season just three airings made it to a 1.0 rating, or better. Last season just two episodes fell below a 1.0 rating. But, it is encouraging that the series drew is best viewer totals, in more than a yaer, with the season finale.
For the season, ROOKIE BLUE averaged 5.04 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. There are still 11 produced episodes of season five that will now become season six, airing in 2015.
