Late Night Ratings: Aug. 25 - Sept. 19, 2014

The last full month leading up to the 2014-15 TV season has THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON in clear control of the late night talk shows. He is 1.4 million viewers ahead, on average, from either Letterman or Kimmel, and closer to two million, on any given week. Momentum will be key for Fallon once CBS make the switch to Colbert.

CONAN is ramping up with it's best numbers of the summer, hitting one million viewers for the week of September 8th.

Over in the post-midnight shows, NBC also has the upper-hand, but not by much. less than a half million viewers separate NBC from CBS and we are just a few months from the new host of THE LATE LATE SHOW. But, it is unpredictable on how James Corden will do with American audiences.
