Complete Nielsen Ratings: July 21 - 27, 2014
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #94:
CBS, NBC and FOX all shared the week's leadership numbers. CBS was the most watched, and in the most households. NBC was the best in the A18-49 and the A25-54 demographic ratings, while FOX was king in the A18-34 ratings. Poor ABC was usually no better than third in each of the ratings categories.
NBC had the top two shows of the week, in both total viewer snad in the A18-49 ratings, as AMERICA'S GOT TALENT shifts to a twice a week schedule. The long running talent show was the only program to draw over 10 million viewers. In total, NBC gave us seven shows in the top 30, including new series TAXI BROOKLYN at #20.
CBS was dominate in the total viewer totals, placing 18 shows in the top 30, including seven in the top 10. Encores are doing well for the network, claiming the three most watched shows for CBS. BIG BROTHER is the only CBS program to pull in a 2.0, or better, in the A18-49 ratings.
FOX may not have any punch with total viewers or the A18-49 ratings, but it still competes in the A18-34 ratings. The Gordon Ramsey shows, plus the animated comedies still bring in the younger viewers. But those numbers are still small. It may take a while for FOX to find it's way back near the top again, in more than the one category.
ABC had a very bland week. Only THE BACHELORETTE (#6) made the top 10. Just two other programs, 20/20 and NY MED make up the network's top 30 shows. When Friday night is ypur second strongest night, you may have a lot of other problems.
The CW's summer finally rebounded, a little. Viewership and demo ratings were up for the first time, in a while. Things should get better with BACKPACKERS and SEED finally purged from the network.
