Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 07/29/14

NBC's FOOD FIGHTERS performed nicely in week two, gaining 30% in the A18-49 ratings and winning the 8 p.m. hour in the demographic. The food series easily beat both NCIS and EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS, not to mention the FOX comedies, and came in second in total viewers. NBC might just have another solid summer series on it's hands. Now, if they could just to the same for the fall season.

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT pulled in similar numbers as last week, showing that it may have reached it's potential for 2014. But, at least for now, the ratings are staying flat instead of dropping through the summer, like previous seasons experienced.

If the numbers hold and there are no preemptions, the CW may have its first one million viewer program, that is not WHOSE LINE, in quite a while. the Encore of ARROW is near the seven figure mark in total viewers, and it will be a close count come finals.

CBS - 6.4 million viewers, 0.9 rating in A18-49

CW - 0.8 million viewers, 0.3 rating in A18-49

FOX - 1.3 million viewers, 0.6 rating in A18-49

NBC - 8.6 million viewers, 2.0 rating in A18-49
