Primetime Cable Ratings: June 25, 2014

DUCK DYNASTY edged out two episodes of THE BIG BANG THEORY to claim the top spot in Wednesday night's cable ratings. The long running reality series collected 3.41 million viewers and a solid 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down one half million viewers and 20% in the demo, from last week's episode.

The four reruns of BIG BANG did very well for TBS. The two episodes in the 10 p.m. hour, averaged 3.1 million viewers and tied DUCK DYNASTY for the top A18-49 ratings. The two 9 p.m. episodes averaged 3.4 million viewers and a 0.9 demo rating. BIG BANG took three of the tip five spots on the chart.

SUITS was the top original scripted series on the chart, placing 3rd on the night, with 2.8 million viewers. The USA dramas still have some life in them, but after nearly 15 years of similar formats for dozens of series, the strength the network once had is beginning to fade away.
