Preliminary Ratings: Thursday 06/26/14

For a second straight night, CBS swept the ratings, lead by summer reality series BIG BROTHER. Episode two of the week, matched the previous night's numbers, getting the night's best, 2.3 rating in Adults 18-49, plus 6.6 million total viewers. So far this week, BIG BROTHER is the only series to draw a demo rating of 2.0, or better.

A repeat of THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's most watched show, getting 7.9 million viewers to tune n at 8 p.m. BIG BANG is one of the few comedies that can really produce good ratings, in repeats.

ABC delivered the season premiere of NY MED, which collected 5.5 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. Viewership numbers are even with the season one premiere, in 2012, but the demo ratings are down 25%. NY MED was first in viewership, for the 10 p.m. hour, but second to LAST COMIC STANDING in the A18-49 numbers.

Week two of ROOKIE BLUE fell slightly in the ratings. Viewership was of by a litle more than 300,000, bu the A18-49 ratings was down 27%. BLUE was in a three way tie for second/last place, in the 9 p.m. hour, in the demo ratings, equaling FOX and NBC's offerings.
