Final Broadcast Ratings: June 25, 2014

CBS let everyone know that it is now competing for summer viewers as the network swept the Wednesday night ratings, with the season premiere of BIG BROTHER. The summer reality series was both the most watched program of the night and the #1 show in the A18-40 ratings. That is a little better than last year's Season premiere. BIG BROTHER is on track to be the week's top series in the A18-49 ratings.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE took a hit with the return of BIG BROTHER, losing nearly one million viewers and 18% in the demo, from last week's episode. However, the 4.4 million viewers and a 1.4 demo rating is above the season low numbers, from two week's earlier.

NBC premiered the new series TAXI BROOKLYN in the 10 p.m. hour to meager ratings, despite winning the hour in the A18-49 ratings. The opener drew 5.3 million viewers, with just a 1.0 demo rating. It was able to beat bot the CSI repeat and a new episode of a weak MOTIVE, on ABC, but CSI did draw in more viewers.

Preliminary Network Averages:
ABC - 3.6 million viewers, 1.0 rating in A18-49
CBS - 6.1 million viewers, 1.5 rating in A18-49
CW - 0.9 million viewers, 0.2 rating in A18-49
FOX - 4.4 million viewers, 1.4 rating in A18-49
