NBCUniversal Keeping Olympic Games Through 2032
NBCUniversal and the International Olympic Committee have agreed on a contract extension for NBC to carry both the Winter and Summer Olympic games through 2032. The extension is an 11 year contract, officially running from 2021 to 2032. In total, NBC has gained six more olympic games, covering both summer and winter spots.
NBC has the right to all formats, including over the air, cable TV, mobile and internet. The eleven year deal is valued at $7.65 Billion, plus an additional $100 million for the promotion of the Olympic values and Olympism, between 2015 and 2020. The previous contract, covering 2011 to 2020, was valued at $4.38 billion.
By 2032, NBC will have a continuously covered the Olympic games for 44 years, which includes 12 summer games and 8 winter games. That is longer and more games than any other US network.

2018 - PyeongChang, S.Korea (winter)
2020 - Tokyo, Japan (summer)
