Ratings: Broadcast Finals for February 9, 2014

CBS mad a dent into the NBC Olympic coverage with it's special presentation of THE BEATLES: A NIGHT TO REMEMBER. The two and a half hour concert celebration of the Beatles arriving in American and performing on the Ed Sullivan Show, drew 14 million viewers and a 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49. Easily the best numbers, outside of the Olympics. The special featured both surviving members of the band, Paul McCartney and Ringo Star.

The fourth day of Olympics coverage, by NBC, posted another strong night, but was down a bit from the same night of the 2010 games, in Vancouver. The Beatles special did have an affect on the NBC coverage.

ABC and FOX did not compete as they programmed repeats for the entire night.
