Preliminary Ratings: February 10, 2014
It is day five of the Winter Olympics, but the first Monday affected by the 17 day event. Every network has some new programming, but all were down against the games.
THE BACHELOR was the biggest show to go toe-to-toe with NBC and the numbers were decent. The reality series hauled in 7.8 million viewers and a 2.3 rating, in Adults 18-49. That is only down 7% in viewers and 12% in the demo ratings, from last week's numbers. Expect the ratings to go UP for THE BACHELOR next week.
FOX's losses were a little more. ALMOST HUMAN was off by one million viewers and 21% in the demo. THE FOLLOWING did better, losing just 11% in the demo, but viewership was off by 1.1 million.
CBS went mostly with repeats on Monday and drew numbers around what they get on a regular repeat night. A new INTELLIGENCE episode did respectable a 10 p.m., rawing nearly 7 million viewers and a 1.3 demo rating. It was the #2 show of the hour...
The Olympics are still rolling along, registering another 20+ million viewers. Monday was the second lowest rated night, just above night one, on Thursday. Just 13 more days of coverage, including the Closing ceremonies, on Sunday, February 23.
