Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 24, 2014
ABC win the night in the A18-49 ratings, Friday night, as SHARK TANK record it's best ratings of the season, pulling in 8.1 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49. The episode should be the networks 4th highest rated show of the week, in A18-49 ratings. Week-to-week, SHARK TANK is up 10% in viewership and 5% in the demo ratings. 20/20, which follows SHARK TANK, hauled in it's best ratings in nearly 4 years and topped the reality series in total viewers. ABC has become the network to beat on the night.CBS took the night in total viewers, despite all three programs airing encore episodes. BLUE BLOODS was the night's most watched program, with 9.9 million viewers.
FOX had decent success with it's flipping of time slots with ENLISTED and RAISING HOPE. ENLISTED, now at 9 p.m., drew 3.2 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That is up 29% in viewership and 43% in the demo ratings, over last week's RAISING HOPE, in the same 9:00 p.m. half hour. It is the best ratings of the season, for the time slot, all season, excluding sports events. It is not yet a hit, but ENLISTED is on the right track.
In contrast, RAISING HOPE only did slightly better than the ratings ENLISTED drew the week before. This Friday, RAISING HOPE held on to just 73% of the audience ENLISTED delivered. With the roles reversed last week, ENLISTED held onto 80% of the RAISING HOPE audience.
