Primetime Cable Ratings: January 24, 2014

Discovery's reality series GOLD RUSH rose to the top of the cable mountain on Friday night, grabbing 4.3 million viewers, at 9 p.m. The episode ws up about 8 % in viewership, over last week. The series also placed a second episode in the top 10, an encore at 8 p.m.

Discovery also placed another series about gold, this one from the Bering Sea. BEARING SEA GOLD placed 4th on the night, with 2.7 million viewers.

WWE SMACKDOWN was the #2 show on Friday and was only one of two show grabbing three million viewers, or more, on the night.
